Fuego de Lotus is pleased to announce we will be moving to our new location The D-street Noshery on October 1st and reopening on October 5th where we will continue to bring you great gluten-free Arepas. The Fuego de Lotus serves Venezuelan inspired street food, which at the center of this cuisine are Arepas, these delicious (wheat free) corn cakes are the perfect stand in for bread. A Venezuelan specialty made from white corn masa, Arepas are ideal for those seeking a healthier, affordable meal. Arepas are served sandwich style with your choice of filling below. In Venezuela, and at my best friend’s house here in Portland, Arepas are often served for the ‘cena,’ a light late-night supper. Welcome to the Arepa revolution. I hope you enjoy your meal.
